Black Panther Analysis part 1

Years after the release of the movie “Black Panther” by Marvel Studios, character analysis is important to stabilize the message of the writer in the context of Africa and the black race. The analysis will be restricted to concept understanding from the audience's perspective, characterization, and character analysis.

 General Opening

The movie commences with an exposition that tells the origin of Wakanda, in a narration by a character; a storytelling session of N’jobu (brother of King T’chaka and Uncle to T’challa and Shuri) and Kilmonger his son. Africa and Ghana (in my perspective) are the origins of storytelling sessions, the aim is to tell the current generation about our history, strives, aims, and the lessons learned as unique people of the black and productive soil. The narration gives a clear description why the name Black Panther, how they kept vibranium from the sight of the world, developing in technology which questions why they seem to be a deprived nation yet never asks for aid, what the heart-shaped herb does to the black panther; it gives the black panther an enhanced physical strength and access to Ancestral plane. Their power within and out is a reason for their wonderful chant Yibambe during battle which means “hold fast” according to Quora translating from Xhosa a language originating from South Africa. Though this movie is a fictional movie from marvel comics, I deem it a great challenge to carefully bring out details missed in the excitement of the premiere of the movie.
