Celebrate the Living Pacesetters.

One of the days of my final year, I was called by a colleague about few days to his event that he needed a writeup for the welcoming of guest. The theme of the event was celebrating pacesetters and legends whilst they are alive. Due to my busy schedule, I wrote the work a day before and rehearsed it since I will be performing it as a spoken, well unfortunately for me, a day to the program, they told me I'd be dueting the work. I felt our concepts differ, so it is best I let the person work all the show alone. I hope you enjoy and making meaning out of this free verse. 

Celebrating the legends whilst they are alive. 

Appreciation they say is the door to more. Yi nipa ay3w wo mbre ah ote ase

Efiri s3 nipa y3 ade3 a os3 ayeyi na s3 wo nnyi nay3 ah nsei ne din

To the dead praise, and cries lie, yet it is showered on their graves like flowers for burial.

The human mind resides in the joy of belonging, Appreciate the efforts of the hand that dug the dry land of success.

Let’s say thank you to the legends of our childhood days!

Those who put smiles ofacesr face and quicken our emotions.

Let’s walk the talk of gratitude for they have served their days on earth shouting ability with their crafts!

Diamonds in the rough, Cheers to the greatness we see through the planes of life

Cheers to strength built on tears. The waters call on you proclaim the vastness of your testimonies the sun rays live to witness the delight in your assemblage of hope.

You are the royaltyone trust in the horizon next to the Highest Highness ❤
