Midnight Scarecrow
Midnight Scarecrow
Silence! Silence and Silence!
The air passes with coldness in a brief
The thoughts of weakness and vulnerability
This doesn't make sense even to me.
The midnight scarecrow has arrived in its fullness.
It sweeps every breath of me and fondles me with sorrow.
Jumps around threatening me with failure.
A horrific parade to behold.
The bird of wonder settles on my roof with roughness.
Pity and sympathy have I done for myself?
Toiling in darkness till the eye is shot with dizziness.
It's scary a night full of terror to be laid in the center of nothing.
